How Long has Power Up Been in Business?

What does Power Up Charge?

We can work with every budget. Service call is $30 and we usually charge $99 a window for labor. Often that is the TOTAL price but if you need motors or regulators replaced there will be an additional charge. Power Up can provide New, Used, Rebuilt, or Aftermarket parts-All With a Warranty.

What does Power Up Charge for Estimates?

We will never charge for an estimate. Keep in mind we have seen the same problems over and over. Power Up can often quote an accurate price over the phone. Usually that will be the final price. If we find the repair may be more expensive you do not owe us a dime. We will provide a written estimate and you can have us do the work if you wish. Phone Advice is always FREE. What locations do you serve?

Does Power Up Auto accept insurance claims?

Yes, glad to help you with that. Keep in mind many of the aftermarket warranties only cover the parts that do not break, but please give us a call and we can help determine if the repair is covered.

Can Power Up Auto diagnose the problem over the phone?

Yes (or by email). Just need to know the year, make, and model. You will find specifics for many vehicles on the click to fix tab on this web site.  A few general power window conditions, If you hear a crunching, grinding sound that stops after 8-12 seconds it might be a broken regulator (the cables that pull the window up and down on a metal crossbrace), If you depress the switch down and hear a click but hear nothing when you press the switch up it might be the actual switch (also, in most cases if one switch is bad neither switch will work). If you do not hear anything it might be the window motor. Remember, we can give an accurate price over the phone.

Can Power Up Auto work with a limited budget?

Yes. We offer new (OEM or aftermarket), used, or rebuilt parts to offer solutions for any budget.

Can we get service early, late, or on weekends?

Yes. Power Up Auto is available as early as you need us (we have done work at 4am). Saturdays and Sundays are also available when needed at no additional charge. Our mobile service allows us to come to wherever the vehicle is. We are very flexible.

Will Power Up Auto install parts I provide?

Yes. In fact we will even verify that you have the correct part before you order it and offer sources for the lowest price.

Can i buy the parts from you and do it myself?

Yes. If you are feeling adventurous and have time on hand then you can buy the parts from us and do the installation/repair yourself. We have options for new, used, rebuilt, or aftermarket parts all with a warranty. In fact we will even verify that you have the correct part before you order it and offer sources for the lowest price. Find your part here.

Does Power Up Auto work on classic cars?

Can Power Up Auto add power windows and door locks to my existing vehicle.

Yes. Power Up Auto may be one of the last companies offering this service in the area. Add Power Locks and Windows.

Does Power Up Auto offer a warranty?

Yes. Usually a one year warranty for new parts. Power Up Auto is state licensed (FL mv#26765). Since 1995 we have written over 45,000 work orders for over 33,000 customers.

Can you repair or replace our windshield?

Not Power Up Auto but if you need a windshield replaced we recommend Steves Auto Glass (727/432-9898) or Glass Doctor (813/884-6455) and Harmon Glass (800/329-0097) Mention you found them on the Power Up Auto website. Thanks

We have a 64 T Bird and could not find anyone willing to work on the power windows. I called Power Up Auto and they came down same day. Scott is very creative and talented at this type of work. It was a bit more expensive than I had planned but the windows work like new. The panels were put back on properly, and no one else seemed to want to tackle this. Highly recommend Power Up Auto.

Well let me tell you. First I went to the local Chevy dealer. Now I been going to them for many years. They wanted to charge me over $600 for my Cadillac STS Driver window (regulator). Power Up Auto was able to do it with one of them China parts for $200 with a warranty. When it comes to power window repair this old boy is callin Power Up Auto.
