Ford Expedition Window Regulator Repair. Also Lincoln Navigator. A few notes on these SUVs,
Window motor issues are rare in the 2nd and 3rd Generation Expeditions and Navigators. Opting to replace only the regulator while retaining your current window motor is often a more cost-effective choice. However, if the motor has been previously replaced, replacing the regulator along with the motor may be necessary.
Every quarter, make it a habit to lower the window and apply a light coat of WD-40 on the two vertical run channels through which the glass moves. Avoid spraying the horizontal Belt Moulding where your arm typically rests when the window is open. This practice helps alleviate stress on the regulator and ensures the smooth operation of all components.
